This is for the woman who can fly

Years ago women fought for their rights.

In 1975, they received a date to celebrate their efforts.

And today, many women are living their dreams.

Some people finally know that a woman deserves to explore the world outside her home and see it without a 'ghunghat' or a 'burka' or a man.

She has wings now.

Wings that were made to fly.

I hope you set yourself free from all the boundaries that are restraining you just like those who made the word “woman” persuasive and resplendent years ago.

Strange isn’t it? Each woman’s life touches so many other lives.

When she isn’t around, she leaves an awful hole. Doesn’t she?

When I was a kid I oftentimes used to dream of going to the northern side with my family, friends and with those with whom I wouldn’t feel alone.

But today, things have changed to a great extent.

Today I know that even if I’ll have no friends or even if my future self will live away from her family, she wouldn’t be alone.

She wouldn’t be alone.

I’ve finally learned that being alone doesn’t mean to be lonely.

Your body needs you.

Your heart needs you and the people you love.

You don’t have to stick with them physically all your life, but emotionally, mentally and at the times of need.

Learn to carry them in your heart and believe me, it won’t even feel their weight.

Beautiful emotions are weightless.

So take your phone or laptop or anything and book a ticket to a place you always dreamed of.

Don’t be afraid of those eyes.

Don’t be afraid of that power which will stop you from stepping onto a marvelous land.

Because you have the courage to make your own power greater and victorious than theirs.

Close your eyes and feel the fresh and mystical air touching your face, passing through your beautiful hair.

Honey, that’s the air of freedom.

It’s the freshest air you could ever feel and breathe.

You’ll hold on to your own hand that day and all of your fears will leave you.

Forever.

Moreover, you’ll get to know yourself and realize that being alone isn’t scary at all because when you held your hand a moment ago, your fears had left you.

You came to know your worth and fell in love with it with a blink of an eye.

And I learned this from a woman.

A woman who is free, who has wings, and from the one who explores.

This is for you from just another woman.

I am happier now.
